Communication

Beyond the Therapy Table

Hi, I’m Naomi.

I'm a bilingual speech-language pathologist and the founder of Real Life Speech Therapy, where I help children and adults build communication skills that make a difference beyond the therapy room.

Throughout my career, I've worked alongside families, educators, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams in schools and community settings. Those experiences shaped the way I practice today: therapy should feel practical, collaborative, and connected to everyday life.

Whether I'm supporting a child's first words, helping a student navigate social communication, or working with an adult to regain confidence after a communication change, my goal is always the same, to create meaningful progress in the places where life actually happens.

That's why many of my sessions extend beyond a traditional therapy table. We might practice conversation during a walk, work on language while grocery shopping, or build communication skills in a playground, classroom, coffee shop, or home. When therapy reflects real life, the skills are more likely to carry over into it.

At Real Life Speech Therapy, I believe every client deserves care that is individualized, evidence-based, and rooted in genuine connection. I strive to make therapy approachable, functional, and empowering—for both clients and their families.
