A Real-Life Approach

Therapy should help communication show up outside of the session.

That means we may work on things like:

  • Starting and maintaining conversations

  • Asking for help

  • Expressing needs clearly

  • Navigating friendships

  • Participating in school or work

  • Using AAC in daily routines

  • Building confidence in social settings

  • Practicing communication in the community

Because communication does not only happen at a table, it happens in real life.
